World Intellectual Property Day is April 26, it was set up by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and started from 2001.
The WIPO is one of the 15 specialized agencies of the United Nations (UN) and it was created to promote and protect intellectual property (IP) across the world by cooperating with countries as well as international organizations. It began operations on 26 April 1970 when the convention entered into force.
WIPO’s activities include hosting forums to discuss and shape international IP rules and policies, providing global services that register and protect IP in different countries, resolving transboundary IP disputes, helping connect IP systems through uniform standards and infrastructure, and serving as a general reference database on all IP matters; This includes providing reports and statistics on the state of IP protection or innovation both globally and in specific countries. WIPO also works with governments, nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), and individuals to utilize IP for socioeconomic development.
Every year WIPO will make a theme, the theme for 2021 is IP & SMEs: Taking your ideas to market. It shines a light on the critical role of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the economy and how they can use IP to build stronger, more competitive and resilient business.
As an enterprise, Kaboon keeps deeply researching and searching both eco-friendly and high grade industrial material to making the product. Luckily, we succeed. Even the packaging material, it is eco-friendly and strong enough to protect the product during delivery.
Also, we try to take our ideas to the market by keep updating our product list. In this Spring, we just launched 2 new products which can make you feel fresh and nature which are Pure Color Tabletop and Floating Shelves Cube.
